Overview: Royal Island, known locally as Horubadhoo, is the latest addition
to Villa Hotels group of resorts. A house reef, with all the natural richness
of the blue waters of the Indian Ocean, beautifully surrounds the island. White
sandy beaches, crystal clear water and the warmth of the Maldivian sun add to
the characteristics of this island, a tropical hideaway for holidaymakers.
The island is designed with a Maldivian touch. 148 bungalows and 2 presidential suites are spaciously placed amongst the depth of the green island, the indigenous Maldivian palm trees. All rooms are located conveniently near the sea to ensure that clients enjoy the best of the clear blue water that surrounds the island.
As tradition
goes, there will be live music events as well as cultural shows organized on a
weekly basis. The island also has a state-of-the-art Karaoke studio and a games
